Mississippi Scholarships
While it is true that Mississippi has some of the most affordable universities in the country, that isn't saying much. Unless you have an average of $10,000 to $20,000 to pay out of pocket every year, you might find it difficult to make ends meet. One alternative, however, is scholarship money. Mississippi scholarships offer tremendous advantages over student loans and work-study program in that the money typically does not have to be repaid. State scholarships are generally awarded either to in-state students or to longtime residents (with no restrictions on where they attend college).Don't Overlook Mississippi Scholarships
The biggest obstacles tend to be the actual scholarship applications themselves. With enough planning and forethought, even these can become easy to overcome. Mississippi scholarships and admissions applications often have similar requirements. If you feel comfortable handling essays, recommendations, transcripts, and test scores, there's no reason not to apply for Mississippi scholarships.Search Results for Mississippi (ms), Merit Based
