Arkansas Scholarships

Arkansas colleges might be slightly more affordable than the national average, but that doesn't mean paying for school is going to be easy. At $10,000 to $18,000 a year (on average), you may need to find creative ways to cover the soaring costs of higher education. Arkansas offers numerous public and private scholarships for exactly that reason. As an Arkansas resident, you may be eligible for scholarships at in- or out-of-state schools.

Paying for School with Arkansas Scholarships

Although the requirements vary from program to program, most scholarship applications ask for recommendation letters, transcripts, essays, test scores, and more. By assembling these items right away, you have a much better chance of being selected as a scholarship recipient. With nothing to lose and so much to gain, make sure you research your options and position yourself for greater financial independence in the long-term.
