Washington Scholarships

Although tuition in Washington State is right in line with the national average, you might find the task of raising $30,000 per year for private universities a daunting one. Even if you worked nights and weekends at a part-time job, you'd likely have difficulty covering all of your expenses. Scholarships offer a way out of this problem. They are essentially free money granted by organizations throughout Washington state, either to students attending in-state schools or to state residents seeking an education nearly anywhere.

Should You Apply for Washington Scholarships?

Sometimes the scholarship applications require high grades, musical ability, or star athleticism. But often, there are scholarship opportunities for ordinary students who simply take the time to apply. Would you rather spend a few hours researching your scholarship options, or would you rather spend the next two to four years figuring out how you're going to pay back your student loans?
